Borderline Craft Beer respects your privacy. This page simply explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are — in accordance with the GDPR and Belgian law.

Data collected

Contact form

When you send us a message via the contact form, we collect :

  • your name,
  • your email,
  • your phone number (optional),
  • the type of request and your message.

Reservation form

When you validate a beer reservation, we additionally collect :

  • your zip code and city (to anticipate pickup logistics),
  • the details of your request (beers, formats, quantities).

Local storage (on your device)

Some functional items are stored locally in your browser only :

  • your age verification (180 days) ;
  • your reservation shopping list (30 days) ;
  • your language preference.

This data does not leave your device until you explicitly validate a reservation. These are strictly functional cookies/storage, exempt from consent (article 5.3 ePrivacy).

Anonymous audience measurement

To understand which pages are viewed, we use a cookie-free analytics tool, GDPR-compliant. No personal data (full IP, unique identifier) is kept.

Purposes

  • respond to your contact requests,
  • organize your reservations and prepare your pickup,
  • understand the site's audience to improve it.

Legal basis

  • Legitimate interest for contact requests and anonymous audience measurement.
  • Pre-contractual performance for reservations.

Recipients

Your data is consulted only by the Borderline Craft Beer team. It is never transmitted to third parties, except by legal obligation.

Retention period

Emails and contact details received via the forms are kept for 3 years from the last exchange, unless you request deletion.

Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights at all times :

  • access to your data,
  • rectification,
  • deletion (« right to be forgotten »),
  • objection to processing,
  • portability.
